Emily graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 from Boston University. Since then, she has worked with humans in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, pelvic health, home health and outpatient orthopedics. Her dog was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in 2021 and while he was recovering from a splenectomy, she realized the parallels between humans and canines in recovery and began researching more about physical therapy in canines. She landed on CRCG and fell in love with working with companion animals and hasn’t looked back. In her spare time, she enjoys trail running, hiking, and skiing with her black lab, Bowie.
