Dr. Victoria (Tory) Tanguay wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Silver Spring, MD, she received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Hood College in Frederick, MD and then began work as an equine veterinary technician. Deciding she had had enough of Maryland, she moved to Nashville, TN where she worked for several years as a veterinary technician in small animal medicine. She then moved cross-country yet again to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University.
She worked as a general practitioner in Loveland, CO for two years before joining the team at CRCG Broomfield. She completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture in 2016 and her Fear Free Practitioner Certification in 2018. Being a canine rehab practitioner has always been the dream for Dr. Tanguay after personally experiencing the benefits of physical therapy. Being part of the team at CRCG Broomfield enables her to fulfill her passion of relieving chronic pain and getting dogs back to their normal selves.
She currently lives in Johnstown, CO with her husband, their “tri-pawd” wonder-dog, Bandit, and two cats, Fancy and Salem. When not at the clinic, she is a self-proclaimed “nerd of all trades” who loves reading, antiquing, Comic Cons, video games, museums, history podcasts, crocheting, and cross-stitching.
