It started as a glimmer in a yellow lab’s eyes and continues as an evolving adventure. The idea for Canine Rehabilitation & Conditioning Group (CRCG) started with Indy, a yellow lab who loved to swim. There were few clean and safe places in the Denver metro area to let her swim, and certainly nothing indoors. After Indy passed away from bone cancer, Clark came along and subsequently developed a shoulder problem. Not wanting to do surgery, I searched for other options and was able to successfully rehabilitate Clark’s shoulder with Marty Pease, a physical therapist that was certified in canine rehabilitation. Thus, the CRCG business concept was launched. Marty and I opened the Englewood location in 2005 and continue to strive to offer the best options for canine rehabilitation in Colorado. My black lab mix Norman is now the CRCG poster dog. He joined our family on Halloween day 2021! He will be undergoing total hip surgery soon and will reap the benefits of CRCG’s hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services to support him. Our other dog, Lainey, is a tripod who LOVES swimming. You may see one or both of them during your visits to CRCG.
