Full circle. Those two words describe my arrival at CRCG. My strong interest
in nutrition and health led me to a position as a Chiropractic Assistant
over 20 years ago in a human practice. My work there only strengthened my
belief in how integrative healthcare contributes to healing and how much I
liked this approach. People were getting better with the help of our work,
targeted nutrition and supplements. My interest took me further down this
path to becoming a Naturopathic Medical Assistant as I worked my way through
my Biology program.
As much as I loved the integrative medical field, my dream was to become a
veterinarian. I finished veterinary school and went into general practice
for several years, but my integrative background stuck with me and
influenced how I treated patients. However, there did not seem to be many
specific opportunities to practice integrative veterinary medicine until I
referred a client to CRCG after TPLO surgery. I stayed on the line after the
referral and asked if there were any positions available, and now here I am,
practicing with many of the healing modalities and supplements that I used
in my original integrative healthcare positions.
I look forward to bringing an integrative approach to helping your pet!
